Primary school teacher Matt Thorpe loves custard, cycling and casual sex. Popular with pupils and school run mums, unpopular with the flatulent caretaker and a humourless teaching assistant. Beneath the jokey exterior, he is haunted by memories of his cold and manipulative mother. Sensing a mutual attraction, Matt invites a pupil’s parent to the classroom after hours for sex. The school caretaker discovers locked doors, sets up a hidden camera, then threatens blackmail. Suffering from panic attacks, fearing his career is over, Matt turns to therapy and finds himself opening up to a woman who listens without judgement.
